I have been making excuses for years and my health has continued to deteriorate. The biggest issue really was my smoking. I knew just how bad it was for me and as a result I just figured
“What’s the point? I can eat healthy or work out but I’m still going to keel over dead from a heart attack because I smoke like a chimney.”
But, now I have stopped smoking and I am ready! It’s been over 10 weeks since I have had a cigarette. I have also been eating in a healthier way and walking about 3 miles a day. This may not seem like a big deal, but after smoking as much as I have for as long as I have, it’s monumental for me. But now I am ready for the next step….
So, it’s accountability time. I’m going to start documenting my journey to health and posting it here. Maybe nobody will see it, but I’ll know it’s here for public viewing and it will help me stay on track and be accountable!
My goal is to:
- start some sort of moderate exercise regiment
- lose weight
- eat healthier
- drink less alcohol
- find some sort of vitamin and supplements system to help me
- focus on proper hydration
- chart and document my results
I’ll keep you posted!
